For intensive exercises

Therefore, even in case of severe cold, you should have very light clothing on - a windproof suit over thermal underwear will be quite enough. However, take into account the fact that the intensity of the exercises should be always high. Otherwise hypothermia may happen, which threatens not only with a cold, but also with heart and blood vessels problems.
If, for instance, a 20-minute run is assumed, and the running will be quite intensive, don’t wrap up, because there is a risk of overheating and sweating. If you suppose to take a break in you exercises, either do it in a warm place, or put on an extra layer of clothes.
For exercises of light and medium intensity
Often in a cold time of a year you have to ease-off because of weather conditions. That is why walking becomes especially relevant in winter time. Walking is a low-intensive exercise, but to make the exercise more effective you should do it rather long. That is why you will have to wrap up - taking into account that you will be moving for a long time, but not extensively.

With the exception of skates, downhill ski boots and snowboard boots, usually sport shoes are not equipped with underlining. Therefore, you need to think of an extra pair of warm socks. If a person is warmly dressed, and his feet are freezing, the load on the cardiovascular system is greatly increased.
