Enjoy a Passionate Salsa

Salsa is not only a tasty sauce, but not less than "delicious" Latin American dance. The sauce recipe is complicated, and the dance elements are also complex and interesting. You can study them forever, and with each next level of penetration into the history and technique of the dance you will discover more and more new sides.

Salsa absorbed the rhythms from all Latin America, but its main roots are from Africa. They are still decisive in the salsa. Mingled with jazz, salsa tunes soon conquered the whole world. And today, dancing salsa is really trendy.

Besides the basic popular Latin American dances one can learn a lot of other dances similar to salsa: bachata, cha-cha-cha, Reggaeton. Bachata is the most romantic of the Latin American club dances, which appeared at the junction of lyrical bolero and upbeat merengue in the Dominican Republic. Reggaeton is a music style that appeared in the early 90s as a mix of hip-hop, Jamaican reggae and Latin American bomb, plena, merengue and bachata. Most of all it developed in Puerto Rico. As a dance Reggaeton has incorporated elements of Latin dance and hip-hop. This dance is characterized by accentuated sexuality of movements.

Before you go to learn to dance salsa, it is important to understand a few moments. Salsa is a pair dance. Interaction of the partners is its most important component. You will learn to feel your partner; to respond easily to his leading. Salsa is a dance of the social dance group. It is accepted to change partners during a class. Thanks to this you can easily dance with any partner in any disco.

But besides dancing in pairs, during classes they also pay attention to overall physical condition. You will be able to develop your body and make it more flexible, and learn to relax and stretch individual muscle groups at the right time.

Salsa is not just the ability to dance; it is a new social club. If you once got to the salsa party, you are unlikely to ever get away from it. Very soon you will acquire lots of new interesting acquaintances- dancers. You will begin to travel to other cities to workout or just to visit; for parties, weddings, or birthdays of friends.

But most important is music. When you hear it, your legs start beating a rhythm, and at any time of year a real Cuban summer reigns inside of you.
